【Notice】Application for Credit Transfer/Waiver on Spring Semester, 2024

Dear Students,
The timetable of application for credit transfer is as following.
Please apply on time (Must apply on system and submit the hardcopy Transcript). Student who applied after deadline is not accepted.

Eligibility

Only for student admitted in Fall Semester, 2024 (Sep. 2023)

Courses cannot be applied

1.Courses already transferred/waived from previous degree.

2.Courses taken after admission, including those where students have received grades or dropped out, are not eligible for course credit transfer.

3.If program/ department approves to transfer/waive any course credits of TMU with the course of previous school, whatever the one or combine multiple courses of previous school, this course of previous will not be approved to transfer anymore.

4.Required courses of the Ph.D. program already taken in my master’s program at TMU, please apply for credits waiver, the Ph.D. program will indicate new courses to replace the required courses.

Application for credits Transfer

Period: Jan. 2nd 2024(Thu.) 9:00 A.M.~ Jan. 4th 2024(The.) 5:00 P.M.
         Incomplete application and over-time application is not accepted.

1. Online Application: Visit https://newacademic.tmu.edu.tw/ and click “Course Credit Transfer”

(1)Upload the digital document include of transcript for all semesters (If the student is with foreign academic qualifications must upload the original transcripts which verified by ROC Embassies and Missions abroad) and the syllabus and course weight and hours from the previous shcool (only accept pdf file). The digital document must be clear by scanning, don’t take photo. Otherwise the application will not be accepted.

(2)Please mark name of course will be applied to transfer/waiver on the transcript.

※If score of the transcript from the previous school is not percentile, please provide the Grade Legend.

2. Submitting original hard copy of transcript (Must be placed an envelope and the document will not be returned)

(1)Must send or deliver the original hard copy of transcript of previous school for all semesters from the school where the student graduated or withdrawal.(Must be  consistent with the uploaded document, including the date of printing. Inconsistent document, transcripts for only current semester/year will not be accepted.) to the Registration Section in Xinyi Campus (4th Floor, United Medical Back Building, No. 250 Wuxing Street, Taipei City).  

(2)Transcripts must be placed in an envelope and marked with the following information:
“Application for Credit Transfer, Spring Semester, 2024 Department name/Student ID/Name”

※Note: Student are with foreign academic qualifications must submit the original transcripts and photocopy which verified by ROC Embassies and Missions abroad (The originals will be returned after verification).
