Application for Course Withdrawal for Fall Semester 2026

Important Notice: Please submit your application early and allow sufficient time for the approval process. The application deadline is the final deadline for the entire approval process to be completed (including approvals from instructors and department chairs), not just the time you submit it online.

1. Time：2026/10/05 (Mon.) 9:00 AM — 2026/11/27 (Fri.) 5:00 PM

️Reminder: 2026/11/27 (Fri) 17:00 is the strict deadline for the entire approval process to be completed. It is strongly recommended to submit your application online at least 3 to 5 days before the deadline to allow adequate time for instructors and department chairs to complete their review.

Online Application Click：Academic & Student Affairs Information System Academic Affairs Information System→選課(Course Selection) → Course Selection → Apply for course Withdrawal 2. Course Withdrawal Confirmation： Academic Affairs Information System→選課(Course Selection) → Course Selection → Class Schedule

Other University course

Course withdrawal for courses offered by other universities cannot be processed through Academic & Student Affairs Information System. Please follow the offering university’s withdrawal procedures and deadlines. Withdrawal will be recorded after the approved documents are received from the offering university. For courses offered by Tzu Chi University and the Resource Centre for AI, please apply for course withdrawal through the Academic & Student Affairs Information System. ELECT Courses: Course withdrawal is not available. For TAICA courses, Please check the latest announcements for updates.

1. Notes:

1. Students who cannot focus on their schoolwork due to personal conditions, either physical or mental, or unforeseen family issues, may apply for course withdrawal.
2. Students must maintain the required minimum number of credits after course withdrawal. Graduate students must remain enrolled in at least one course after withdrawal.
3. Approval Process

Submitting an online application does not mean the withdrawal is complete. The application only takes effect after all required approvals are obtained:

• Department/degree program courses: Withdrawal takes effect after approval by the course instructor, Administrative Advisors, and Department Chairs.
• Liberal Education courses: Withdrawal takes effect after approval by the course instructor and the Administrative Advisors of Liberal Education.
• Resource Centre for AI and Tzu Chi University Courses: Withdrawal takes effect after approval by the Administrative Advisors and Department Chairs of the student’s original department/degree program.

Student Responsibility: Students are responsible for contacting instructors/chairs to complete the approval process in time. If approval is not completed by 2026/11/27 (Fri) 17:00, the application will be deemed incomplete and will be canceled.

1. After the withdrawal, adding courses is not allowed for any reason in the same semester.
2. Course withdrawals will be recorded on your transcript. Please consider carefully before applying.
